{"id":13463,"date":"2020-08-13T10:51:00","date_gmt":"2020-08-13T03:51:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/biologi.sci-ui.id\/?p=13463"},"modified":"2024-07-20T17:48:08","modified_gmt":"2024-07-20T10:48:08","slug":"peneliti-departemen-kimia-fmipa-ui-ungkap-material-anorganik-berpori-dapat-menghentikan-penyebaran-covid-19","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/biologi.sci-ui.id\/en\/peneliti-departemen-kimia-fmipa-ui-ungkap-material-anorganik-berpori-dapat-menghentikan-penyebaran-covid-19\/","title":{"rendered":"Peneliti Departemen Kimia FMIPA UI Ungkap Material Anorganik Berpori dapat Menghentikan Penyebaran Covid-19"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dosen sekaligus peneliti Departemen Kimia FMIPA UI, Dr. Yuni Krisyuningsih Krisnandi, M.Sc., menjadi salah satu pemateri dalam acara MIPATalk Series 9 pada Kamis, 13 Agustus 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pada kesempatan itu, Ia membawakan pemaparan berjudul&nbsp;<strong><em>Porous Inorganic Frameworks as Antiviral Surfaces: Their Prospect to Stop Covid-19 Spreading<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sebelum menjelaskan tema tersebut, Dr. Yuni sedikit menjelaskan mengenai material yang aman untuk tubuh, ramah lingkungan, dan murah untuk mengendalikan penyebaran infekssi Coronavirus ini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Salah satu material yang menurutnya dapat digunakan adalah material anorganik berpori yang berfungsi untuk mensupport material lain (active material) ketika digunakan, misalnya material nanopartikel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Setidaknya ada 4 material anorganik berpori yang dapat digunakan, antara lain Bentonite, Zeolite, Graphene, dan Metal Organic Framework (MOF).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Menurut peneliti yang juga tergabung dalam Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) ini, setiap material anorganik berpori mempunyai peluang untuk membantu mencegah penularan Covid-19, salah satu contohnya yaitu Bentonite yang berupa clay (tanah lempung) kemudian dimodifikasi menjadi daun berpori besar dan dapat digunakan untuk merusak protein pada RNA virus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cMaterial anorganik tadi mempunyai peluang dengan segala keunikannya, gitu ya, untuk membantu mencegah penyebaran virus corona atau Covid-19 ini, ya,\u201d terang Dr. Yuni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lebih lanjut, Dr. Yuni mengklaim bahwa yang ia dan tim sedang dikerjakan di laboratorium saat ini adalah membuat filter kolom untuk ekstraksi RNA yang sangat dibutuhkan ketika PCR test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hal lainnya yang sedang dilakukan adalah membuat bentonite polimer yang nantinya akan ditempelkan ke masker ataupun baju hazmat atau Alat Pelindung Diri (APD).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">News source :\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sci.ui.ac.id\/\">https:\/\/sci.ui.ac.id\/<\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dosen sekaligus peneliti Departemen Kimia FMIPA UI, Dr. Yuni Krisyuningsih Krisnandi, M.Sc., menjadi salah satu pemateri dalam acara MIPATalk Series 9 pada Kamis, 13 Agustus 2020.
