FIMPA UI student affairs manager passes away

His sudden passing shocked the entire FMIPA UI family. He was previously reported to have been experiencing health problems and underwent surgery in early May 2022. The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) UI extended its condolences to his passing. Condolences and feelings of loss were also expressed by members of the University of Indonesia's various faculties through WhatsApp messages between faculty leaders and public relations staff, as well as through social media.

He was born on August 26, 1991. He is survived by his wife. He was a Geography student in the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) UI, graduating in 2013. He continued his education to a master's degree in civil engineering at the Faculty of Engineering (FT) UI, graduating in 2017.

After completing his master's degree, he returned to the Geography Department as a lecturer, specializing in water resources modeling.

He then joined the leadership of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) UI for the 2021-2025 period as the Student Affairs Manager for the 2022-2025 term. He was inaugurated along with the other new leaders on March 30, 2022, at the Royal Tulip Hotel, Gunung Geulis, Bogor.

As Student Affairs Manager, he was quite active in coordinating and attending meetings, both in-person and virtually. He also served as the Chairperson of the Odd Semester Virtual Graduation Ceremony on March 6, 2022.

As a tribute and expression of gratitude for his dedication, the FMIPA UI leadership initiated a joint tahlil (remembrance) and prayer service for the FMIPA UI family tonight, at 6:30 PM WIB, via Zoom.
