Study Dropout Evaluation

Students are declared to have dropped out of their studies if under some circumstances they are unable to continue academic activities due to administrative problems and/or academic evaluation. The statement of dropping out of studies was decided by the Chancellor on the recommendation of the Head of the Faculty/Postgraduate Program. (Referring to the Decree of the Chancellor of the University of Indonesia Number: 478/SK/R/UI/2004 concerning Evaluation of the Study Success of University of Indonesia Students Articles 9 and 10) has been replaced with the Chancellor's Decree No. 6 2020 Chapter XV Article 48 concerning Dropping Out of Studies.

Standar

Undergraduate students are declared to have dropped out of studies:

  1. If in the evaluation of the first 2 (two) semesters you do not obtain a minimum achievement index of 2.0 (two point zero) from at least the best 24 (twenty four) credits;
  2. If in the evaluation of the first 4 (four) semesters you do not obtain a minimum achievement index of 2.0 (two point zero) from at least the best 48 (forty eight) credits;
  3. If in the evaluation of the first 8 (eight) semesters you do not obtain a minimum achievement index of 2.0 (two point zero) from at least 96 (ninety six) of the best credits;
  4. If at the end of the study period evaluation you do not obtain a minimum achievement index of 2.0 (two point zero) from the required study load with the lowest grade being C.

(Referring to the Decree of the Chancellor of the University of Indonesia Number: 478/SK/R/UI/2004 concerning Evaluation of the Study Success of University of Indonesia Students Article 11) Apart from the above, undergraduate students can be declared to have dropped out of studies if they:

  1. Problems in administrative matters as regulated in article 29 paragraph (3)
  2. Receive sanctions for academic violations
  3. Receive sanctions for violations of campus life rules d. It was declared that it was not appropriate to continue the study based on health considerations from the team of doctors appointed by the University Management.
