The set of Academic Regulations for the Department of Biology, FMIPA UI is a guide/guideline issued by the University of Indonesia for teaching staff, administrative staff and students of the Department of Biology, FMIPA UI in carrying out their academic activities. The Academic Regulations Association site is a digital archive repository of the Academic Regulations Association book which contains various regulations issued by the University of Indonesia in the form of decrees of the University of Indonesia's Board of Trustees, Decisions of the University of Indonesia's Board of Trustees, Regulations of the University of Indonesia's Board of Trustees, Decisions of the Chancellor of the University of Indonesia as well as an official note from the Dean of FMIPA UI.

Biology Undergraduate Program
Master's Program in Biology

The master's program study load is 40–44 credits with details:

  • The master's program through lectures and research follows a number of structured courses listed in the curriculum (30–34 credits); produce 1 (one) paper related to the results of his research as the main author accompanied by a supervisor which has been accepted for publication in a national journal or international proceedings (2 credits); submit 1 (one) Thesis work and take the Thesis Examination as the final stage of the Master's Program (8 credits).
  • The master's program through research takes part in several periodic semesters regarding literature studies, especially reputable scientific journals related to the main research (8 credits); take the Research Proposal Examination (4 credits); take the Research Results Examination (8–10 credits); present 1 (one) paper related to the results of his research as the main author at a national/international scientific conference and published in the proceedings as a full paper (4 credits); produce 1 (one) scientific paper resulting from research as the main author who can be accompanied by a supervisor which has been published (published) in an accredited journal or accepted (accepted) in an international journal (10 credits)
Biology Doctoral Program
  • Doctoral programs can be implemented through lectures and research; or research.
  • The doctoral program study load is 48-52 credits which is scheduled for 6 (six) semesters and can be taken in at least 4 (four) semesters, or a maximum of 10 (ten) semesters.
