FMIPA UI Announces 2022 Mapres Winners

Wednesday (11/05/2022), the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Indonesia (FMIPA UI) announced the winners of the 2022 Main Outstanding Students (Mapres). The announcement was made online by the Student Affairs Unit. Windya Fajira (Biology 2019) won first place, followed by Stefanny Rizika Amina (Geophysics 2019) as second place, while third place was won by Albertus Aldo (Chemistry 2019).

Thus, Windya Fajira is confirmed to advance to the new round, namely the UI-level Mapres selection to compete for the champion title with finalists from each faculty within UI. The activity will be held on May 30, 2022 - June 3, 2022.

The selection of the Main Outstanding Students (Mapres Utama) FMIPA UI 2022 was officially opened on Friday, April 22, 2022 by Mr. Dede Djuhana M.Si., Ph.D. as the Dean. The 2022 FMIPA UI Outstanding Students are attended by participants who have gone through the selection process and become finalists at the department level.

The main Mapres at the faculty level consists of 2 students from the Department of Mathematics, 1 student from the Department of Physics, 2 students from the Department of Chemistry, 1 student from the Department of Biology, 1 student from the Department of Geography, and 1 student from the Geoscience study program, so there are 8 candidates for the Main Mapres.

The stages of the 2022 FMIPA UI Outstanding Student Selection consist of presentations and discussions in English, and Scientific Paper Presentations (KTI) for the Main Outstanding Student finalists, as well as an interview session.
