FMIPA UI Holds Odd Semester Pre-Graduation Ceremony for the 2022/2023 Academic Year

The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Indonesia (FMIPA UI) held a Pre-Graduation event for the Odd Semester of the 2022/2023 Academic Year on Thursday morning (9/3) at the Sinarmas Hall, Multidisciplinary Research Laboratory Building, FMIPA UI – PT Pertamina, UI Campus, Depok.

A total of 389 graduates attended the event led by Dede Dujahana, Ph.D. as the Dean of FMIPA UI. The number of graduates consisted of 331 undergraduate graduates, 47 master's graduates, and 11 doctoral graduates. They one by one had the opportunity to go up to the stage to receive congratulations and take pictures with the Dean.

This Pre-Graduation event is part of a series of events that precede the UI Graduation which will be held at the UI Hall on Friday (10/3) and Saturday (11/3). This UI Pre-Graduation is also a replacement for the dress rehearsal agenda which in previous years' UI Graduation activities was held at the Hall, UI Campus, Depok.

"I congratulate all graduates from the undergraduate, masters, and doctoral programs for their success in pursuing their education at FMIPA UI," said Dean Dede starting his speech.

Although this time the dress rehearsal agenda was carried out in each faculty through the Pre-Graduation event, the Dean hopes that this important moment for the graduates will still bring a happy impression and make the graduates proud of their alma mater.

"Hopefully this moment will continue to give you a happy and proud impression of being a graduate of FMIPA UI," he said.

Furthermore, the Dean advised the graduates to continue to develop their potential, maintain the good name of their alma mater and integrity as part of the big family of FMIPA UI to contribute to the Indonesian nation.

"Of course, as alumni of FMIPA UI, you are required to be able to contribute to the nation and state, so be a strong, developing and adaptive person," added Dean Dede.

In addition to taking photos with the Dean individually, at this event the graduates also had the opportunity to take group photos with the board of professors, fellow study program colleagues, heads of study programs, and heads of their respective departments.
