Grand Launch of BEM FMIPA UI 2025: “Embark the Journey” for an Impactful Student Movement

The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Indonesia (FMIPA UI) officially launched the new management of the Student Executive Board (BEM) FMIPA UI 2025 through a Grand Launch event held at the Prof. Dr. Ir. Soemantri Brodjonegoro Hall, FMIPA UI, on Friday (23/5).

This event was a momentum to introduce the new functionaries of BEM FMIPA UI 2025 to all campus elements, as well as an introduction to the organizational structure, vision, mission, values, and work programs under the leadership of Muhamad Ridho Alfarabi (Physics 2022) as Chair and Kayla Nadhira Wijaya (Biology 2022) as Vice Chair. This year, BEM FMIPA UI carries the theme "Embark the Journey", which reflects the spirit of building a broader, more integrated, and more dynamic student movement.

The launch was attended by the faculty leadership, including the Vice Dean for Resources, Ventures, and General Administration, Prof. Dr. Tito Latif Indra, S.Si., M.Si, and Student Affairs Manager, Prof. Dr. Dewi Susiloningtyas, along with student coordinators and staff, representatives of BEM throughout the University of Indonesia, and all new functionaries of BEM FMIPA UI 2025.

In her remarks, Prof. Dr. Dewi Susiloningtyas expressed her appreciation and high hopes for the new management.

"Thank you for the willingness of fellow students to join the ranks of the Core Management of BEM FMIPA UI 2025. I hope this spirit of goodness can continue to be maintained. Together with the leadership at FMIPA UI, we can create positive activities and support performance achievements in the FMIPA UI student environment."

In line with this, Prof. Dr. Tito Latif Indra emphasized the faculty's commitment to supporting student activities:

"FMIPA is your home. Make the best use of all the facilities available. Keep up the spirit to enliven FMIPA with positive activities for the academic and non-academic development of FMIPA students!"

The management of BEM FMIPA UI 2025 consists of 4 bureaus and 3 departments that are integrated with each other in running the organization. internal bureau tasked with maintaining coordination and internal dynamics of the management, while communication and information bureau (Kominfo) plays a role in the dissemination of information and media management. financial bureau responsible for managing organizational funds, and strategy bureau, Supervision, and Integrity (SPI) ensures that the program is implemented according to the values ​​of transparency and accountability. On the other hand, various student welfare issues are handled by Advocacy Department and Student Welfare (Adkesma), students' potential and creativity are facilitated by department of interests and talents (Minkat), as well as social issues and campus policies are responded to by department of social affairs and Politics (Sospol).

This Grand Launch is not just a ceremony, but a strategic initial step in strengthening the role of students as agents of change in the FMIPA UI environment. With inclusive leadership and inter-field collaboration, BEM FMIPA UI 2025 is expected to be a forum that enlivens, accompanies, and inspires the entire FMIPA UI academic community.
