Profile
Andi Salamah is an Associate Professor and an Academic Member of the Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, at the Universitas Indonesia. Her research focuses on the Plant cellular and molecular mechanism in biosystem that focuses on the correlation between morphology, anatomy, genetic, cytogenetic, and environmental cues to plant development; Plant ecophysiology, Plant biodiversity and conservation, and Plant-microbe interaction.
She got her Doctorate from Okayama University, Japan, in 2001 and a Follow-up Research Fellowship from JASSO Japan for Fiscal 2006-2007. She has published about 80 peer-reviewed articles in international and national journals and is frequently invited to review many manuscripts. She is also an Associate Editor at Makara Journal of Science. She is now actively supervising graduate (Doctorate/ master ) and undergraduate students in the Department of Biology. Since 2024, She has been a member of the LAMSAMA (Independent Accreditation Institute for Natural and Formal Sciences) assessor team for Biology.
