Profile
Hello! My name is Mazytha Kinanti Rachmania. I am an enthusiastic scientist with a strong interest in microbial diversity, bioinformatics, and microbial prospection. I obtained my Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees in Biology from Universitas Indonesia. My research explores rare cultivated and uncultivated microorganisms, particularly rare filamentous bacteria from geothermal environments. By applying culture-dependent and culture-independent (metagenomic) approaches, polyphasic taxonomy, genome mining, and integrated bioinformatics approaches, my work aims to uncover the biotechnological potential of these microorganisms and expand our understanding of their functional roles. I am dedicated to advancing the field through interdisciplinary research that integrates laboratory investigations with data-driven insights to discover novel microbial resources.
