Cellular and Molecular Mechanisms in Biological System (CEMBIOS)

The CeMBioS research group focuses on exploring the cellular, molecular, and genomic mechanisms that occur within individual cells and their roles as the fundamental units of an organism, including the structure, function, and processes that underpin biological systems.

Point of Interest
  1. Conducting basic research on biological system.
  2. Gaining insights into key biological processes at the cellular and molecular levels using approaches based on structure, function, and genetics.
  3. Advancing research in cellular, molecular, and genomic sciences to support biodiversity conservation and bioprospecting efforts.
Aims

Our goals are to advance high-quality research, to train graduate students in cellular and molecular biology, and to enhance undergraduate education in cellular, molecular, and genomic mechanisms.

  • To train graduate students and strengthen undergraduate education in the fields of cellular, molecular, and genomic mechanisms.
  • To investigate cellular and molecular phenomena in nature, with a primary focus on those related to Indonesia’s rich biodiversity.
  • To explore opportunities for global research collaboration, accelerating scientific advancement and preparing future Indonesian leaders in international research.
